LogMyDive is a free digital scuba diving logbook service that allows users to:

  • Create custom dive log templates
  • Record and store dive information
  • Access their dive logs from any device
  • Track dive locations and diving history

3. User Accounts

To use LogMyDive, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Content and Data

You retain all rights to the dive logs and data you create and store in LogMyDive. By using the Service, you grant us the right to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the information you enter
  • Backing up important dive log data
  • Any consequences resulting from inaccurate dive information

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use LogMyDive to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without permission

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

IMPORTANT: LogMyDive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

LogMyDive is a recreational tool for tracking dive information. It is NOT:

  • A substitute for proper dive planning and safety procedures
  • A replacement for professional dive computers or safety equipment
  • A guarantee of dive safety or accuracy of logged information

Always follow proper diving safety protocols, use appropriate dive equipment, and consult with certified diving professionals.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LogMyDive and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business interruption
  • Any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from diving activities
  • Any reliance on information stored in LogMyDive

8. Data Backup and Loss

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee that your dive logs will never be lost or corrupted. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important dive information.

9. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice
  • Terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms
  • Change these Terms and Conditions at any time

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

10. Intellectual Property

The LogMyDive service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by LogMyDive and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

11. Free Service

LogMyDive is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, though existing free features may remain available.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LogMyDive operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
